How do I report a traffic signal issue?: Please call 911 if a traffic signal is not working, or malfunctioning; otherwise, if you have concerns with timing or other issues you may either call and leave a message at 805-654-7769 include your name, phone number and issue.

1. How do I report a pothole?: Potholes should be reported to the City's pothole hotline at 805-652-4590.

2. How do I report graffiti?: Call the City's Graffiti Hotline at 805-654-7805 or e-mail us at [email protected] If using a Smart phone, sending a picture helps identify the graffiti and ensures quicker response for abatement.

3. How do I report a burned out street light?: Most of the street lights in the City are owned and maintained by Southern California Edison (SCE). Please contact SCE at 1-800-655-4555.

4. How do I dispose of household hazardous waste?: Contact Environmental Sustainability at 805-652-4525. Call during regular business hours to make an appointment for one of our monthly events. The City also hosts free HHW collection events each month, held the third Saturday of each month (except December) at 5275 Colt Street, from 9am to 1:30pm. Call for an appointment, 805-652-4525.

6. How do I report an illicit discharge into the storm drain?: Call the City's illicit discharge hotline at 805-667-6510 during regular business hours Monday - Thursday; otherwise, please contact police dispatch at 805-650-8010.

13. How do I report an abandoned shopping cart?: Contact the CarTrac hotline at 888-992-4778. You may also submit a pickup request at https://retailsolutionsus.com/pickuprequest/.

14. I have grass and brush clippings that I need to dispose of, what can I do with them?: Place in brown waste barrel provided by E.J. Harrison & Sons. You can contact them at 805-647-1414.

15. Does the City provide sandbags?: Yes. During the rainy season, city of Ventura residents can get sand and sandbags (bring your own shovel) at the City's maintenance yard, 336 Sanjon Road (enter at Chrisman Avenue). 16. How to report illegal dumping?: Help keep Ventura’s streets and open spaces free of bulky debris. If you see debris or bulky items in dangerous places, the public right of way, or blocking storm drains, please call Ventura’s Safe & Clean Hotline at (805) 677-3900.
