Did you know...the Ventura Police Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that:

• Provides resources and funding to help improve police effectiveness and officer safety and wellness through the use of specialized equipment, evolving technology, and other projects and innovations.
• Sponsors programs and partnerships that enhance the relationship between the community, youth, and the Ventura Police Department.

Below are just a few highlights of the exciting things the Ventura Police Department has been able to do with the financial support of the Ventura Police Community Foundation in 2022:

• Acquisition and continued support for Asher, the Department's therapy comfort canine.
• Support for Ventura PD's first teen Explorer Program
• Sponsor of Ventura PD's Public Safety Community Block Party after a 21-year-hiatus
• Sponsor of the annual Shop with a Cop event for underprivileged kids in Ventura
