[ARCHIVED] Ventura PD hosting an Easter Basket Drive

Easter Drive 2

The Ventura Police Department is excited to announce a partnership with the Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation to host an Easter Basket Drive supporting Ventura County kids (& their siblings) receiving cancer treatment (chemo, IV meds, transfusions, etc.) to help boost moral and let them know we’re rooting for them!

Empty baskets, stuffed animals, individually wrapped candy, faux grass for baskets, clear wrapping paper, and all Easter related supplies will be accepted through April 1, 2022. Easter basket donations can be brought to the Ventura Police Department, located at 1425 Dowell Drive, Monday through Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm.

Please note- this drive supports kids of all ages so please feel free to get creative with donations for teens, including gift cards and even activities to keep them occupied during treatment. All candy should be individually wrapped.
