Ventura Water wants to encourage residents to reimagine their landscape! This year Ventura Water has partnered with local landscape and gardening experts to provide a series of sustainable and water wise gardening classes. 


Upcoming classes include: 


"Permaculture 101"

10:00 am, August 19 at Green Thumb International at 1899 S Victoria Avenue

Don’t miss this amazing workshop with specialist Ben Lining of Green Thumb. Learn new and fundamental permaculture designs.


"Creating a Sustainable and Balanced Garden Ecosystem"

10:00 am,  September 9 at City of Ventura Public Works Maintenance Yard at 336 Sanjon Road

Balanced garden ecosystems are low maintenance, promote healthy soils, and support local wildlife. Professional landscape designer and native plant specialist, Lisa Burton of Nature by Design will be teaching steps for designing a sustainable and balanced garden.


"Water Wise Vegetable Garden"

10:00 am, October 21 at Green Thumb International at 1899 S. Victoria Avenue 

Conserve water while growing nutritious food! David Nichols of Green Thumb will be demonstrating techniques that will make your water wise vegetable garden a success.
