New Electricity Provider

Clean Power Alliance

Starting in February 2019 for residential customers, and May 2019 for non-residential customers, Clean Power Alliance (CPA) will be the new electricity provider for residents and businesses in
Ventura. Clean Power Alliance will purchase clean power, and Southern California Edison (SCE) will deliver it through its existing utility lines. Nothing else changes—SCE will continue to
deliver power to your home or business.

As CPA begins to offer service, customers are receiving notices via mail before and after the switch from SCE to CPA. The notices will give you information about your new energy choices,
including how to make changes to your account.

Questions: Contact Customer Support at 888-585-3788 or [email protected] or TTY: 323-214-1296

While you will be automatically enrolled in the service option selected by the City of Ventura, you can “opt up” or “opt down” to another rate option at any time. And if you want to switch back again, choose your preferred option online here or call 888-585-3788 to make the change. Please have your SCE bill on hand because you will need your account information to process your request.

To Opt Out visit
You can opt out of Clean Power Alliance service once you receive an enrollment notice. Before then, you aren't in the system yet so there's nothing to "opt out" of.
