Nature and History Programs


Education/Interpretive Specialist


Conducts fun outdoor history or nature programs for pre K - 6th graders. No experience needed, we will train.
Flexible a.m. hours.  6 to 25 hours/week, $11-20/hour

Aquatic Center

Community Partnerships 

Bilingual Writer/Editor (Spanish/English)-Extra Help Position

Duties:

Part-time writer/editor will independently produce clear and concise written and electronic materials for internal and external communications for numerous City departments.  Will write and edit media releases, articles, advertising copy, presentations, newsletters, and other marketing collateral. Writer must be fluent in writing both English and Spanish, as many pieces will be created/edited in both languages.   Ensure quality and accuracy of all copy.  Will weave city message into all communications pieces.  Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

-A combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to completion of high school, supplemented by college-level courses in journalism, communications or a related field.

- Strong spelling, proofreading, grammar, and editing skills

-Strong organizational skills and ability to set and meet quick deadlines.

Hours: This is a part-time, as-needed, extra-help positions. Hours are flexible during a 7:30-5 pm work day.  Hours could range from 10 to 20 hours per week.  Starting immediately.

Pay: Up to $15-20/hour dependent upon experience
