This position is ideal for professionals looking for an enjoyable and rewarding second career, semi-retired individuals, or anyone who enjoys working with people, and has a flexible schedule. Applicants must have excellent customer service skills and a clean driving record. Current Class A or B CDL holders are preferred. Others with verifiable commercial driving or large vehicle experience may be considered. Schedule may vary significantly from week to week. Weekdays and weekends are required.

Staff will be required to monitor events, making sure that permit holders understand and comply with the terms of their permit, which serve to protect the park resources and visitors. Also, they will ensure that the facilities used for events are kept in proper condition, explain policies to prospective clients and vendors, and work on other projects to support, improve, and grow the City of Ventura’s programs.
