Water Safety Instructor

AGES 16-ADULT
Successful completion of this course will certify you to teach all levels of American Red Cross progressive swimming lessons. Included in the course is Fundamentals of Instructor Training (FIT). You must attend all class sessions, successfully complete all assignments, and instruct 4 additional teach back hours to obtain certification.
Prerequisite: 16 years of age by first class day, 200-yard continuous swim and demonstration of 4 competitive strokes, and sidestroke.

Lifeguard Training

AGES 15-ADULT
Certifications include: First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and Lifeguard Training.
Prerequisites: 15 years of age by first class day; 400-yard continuous swim; 20 yard swim with 10 pound brick retrieval from bottom of pool. Certification is valid for 2 years and is included upon successful completion of course. Must attend all class dates to be certified.

Lifeguard Training Review

AGES 17-ADULT
Must show proof of current Lifeguard Training certification. Same certifications and prerequisites as for Lifeguard Training (see above). Certification is valid for 2 years and is included upon successful completion. Must attend all class dates. This course can also be arranged by appointment for small groups by calling: 805-654-7514

Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED

AGES 13-ADULT
Learn to recognize and respond to emergencies including shock, cardiac and breathing emergencies for adults, children and infants. Learn how to use Automated External Defibrillation (AED).
