There are 12 privately-owned mobile home parks in the City of Ventura that are subject to the City's Mobile Home Rent Stabilization Ordinance. The residents at these spaces pay space rent to the park owners and the City of Ventura regulates increases in maximum space rents that can be charged by the park owners through Ventura's Mobile Home Rent Stabilization Ordinance.

Mobile Home Administrative Fees
On June 18, 2018, the City Council of San Buenaventura passed and adopted Resolution no. 2018-038 titled, A Resolution of the Council of the City of San Buenaventura, California, Adopting a Revised Schedule of Fees, Hourly Rates, and Equipment Charges for Various City Services. The Basic Administrative Fee has increased to $3.00 per space per month (50% to be paid by residents; 50% to be paid by the park owner). The Additional Basic Administrative Fee remains at $1.67 per space per month.
