To Join the Hearing Live:
The virtual meeting will be held on WebEx Events. You can join the hearing as it is occuring by clicking the following:

When you join, you will be an attendee at the meeting where you will be able to listen and see but will not be visible on screen and will be muted.
To Submit Public Comment Live:
If you would like to make a comment on an item during the meeting there will be a Chat function on your screen.  You can write, "I would like to speak on Agenda Item #__" in the Chat comment box. During the discussion of the item, the Chair will allow public comment. The City Clerk will announce those requesting to comment and unmute your mic allowing you to speak. You will be heard but not visible on screen. You will have 3 minutes to provide your comments. When you are finished, your mic will be muted again.
To Join the Hearing via Telephone:
You can join the hearing through an audio connection by calling 1-408-418-9388 and entering the following Access code: 629 673 025.
Note: Audio connection will not be able to provide public comment as the hearing is occurring.
To Submit Public Comment via Telephone:
You can submit your comments via telephone by calling (805) 654-7869 by 4:00 p.m. of the day of the hearing. Please indicate you are calling about the July 15th Design Review Committee Meeting and which Agenda Item you are referencing.

To Submit Written Public Comment:
You can submit your written comments by 4:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing by using the Electronic Public Comment Form. Please indicate the Subject Line, the Agenda Item number (i.e. item No. 8). Your written comment will be read into the record by the DRC Chair at the hearing.

Please note: Every effort will be made to read your comment into the record but some comments may not be read due to time limitations. All comments received by the conclusion of the agenda will be made part of the record.


The Design Review Committee reports to the Planning Commission, reviews and considers applications for approval of design including: public and private projects, applications for sign variances and proposed design elements or components of specific plans, historic districts, or other special areas.
