Cornucopia Community Garden

The Cornucopia Community Garden, located on Telephone Rd. between Johnson Dr. & Ramelli Ave, is the City of Ventura's largest community garden with approximately 152 plots available for growing healthy, organic vegetables and flowers. Managed by the Parks, Recreation, and Community Partnerships Department, the garden attracts community members from all walks of life who come together to cultivate the land and celebrate their harvest.

Garden plots are rented and assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Plots average approximately 18ft x 20ft.

Current rental fees are $85.00 per plot for 6 months, due on January 1 and July 1. An $85.00 refundable garden deposit is also required. Garden plot fees will be prorated for renters joining the garden between billing cycles.
 
A 10% surcharge will be added to plot rental fees for customers who live outside Ventura city limits. This surcharge helps defray the costs for upkeep of City parks and facilities that are supported by Ventura taxpayers.
 
Rental Fees Include: water, mulch (while supplies last), green waste and trash disposal, garden tools/equipment, and portable restrooms.

Kellogg Park Community Garden

The Kellogg Park Community Garden, located on Kellogg St. and Ventura Ave., is the City Kellogg Park Community Garden Photo 1of Ventura's newest community garden with plots available for growing healthy, organic vegetables and flowers. Managed by staff from the City of Ventura Parks, Recreation, & Community Partnerships Department, the garden attracts community members from all walks of life who come together to cultivate the land and celebrate their harvest.

Rental Fees
Garden plots are rented and assigned on a first come, first serve basis for Ventura residents. Plots average approximately 3ft x 6ft.

Current rental fees are $30.00 per plot for 6 months. A $30.00 refundable garden deposit is also required. Garden plot fees will be prorated for renters joining the garden between billing cycles. All participants must comply with the Community Garden Rules and Guidelines.

Rental Fees Include: raised planter bed, water, gopher wire base to protect from pests, garden tools/equipment, and restroom at the park site.
