Parks, Recreation & Community Partnerships offer both half and full day spring break camps during Ventura Unified School District’s Spring Break, April 2-6 for children ages 3-14 years. Various fun, safe and educational options are available at venues around Ventura.
Spring Break-Jr. Water Polo Skills Camp
6-11 years $40
This camp introduces the sport of water polo to kids in a fun, non-competitive environment, providing basic skills and understanding of the sport in a recreational format. Participants must have basic swimming abilities. Class is taught in shallow water.

Spring Break-Pirates & Mermaids Camp
8-14 years $70
Ahoy, mateys & mermaids! Splish splash galore, come explore the bottom blue at Ventura Aquatic Center for an adventurous week of crafts, games, swim skill development, recreational swimming and more! Participants must be able to swim 50-yards (2 lengths) comfortably.

Spring Break Sail and Kayak Camp
9-13 years $165
Each day holds a new adventure and water activity including sailing, kayaking, ice cream stops, museum trips and more. Returning campers improve skill levels and take on more advanced sailing challenges.

Ninjaneering with LEGO®

Enter the world of Ninjago and become an apprentice Ninjaneer! Learn the way of Spinjitzu, build the Fire Temple, race Skull Trucks, and encounter the mighty Dragon! Money Munchkins Spring Camp New!

This course is a fun and interactive way to teach your child about money management and financial education. Students will learn about currency, banks, savings, income vs. expenses, need vs. want, credit and debit cards, budgeting, debt, and more! Spring Billy Clower Dance Camp NEW!
3-11 years $135
Mix It Up Dance Camp exposes students to a whole range of dance styles. Each day students will learn a different style of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, and Cheer. This is a great way to try new things and it keeps the kids engaged for the entire week. Parents are invited into the classroom for the last 5 minutes of each day for a daily performance. Become a Summer Camp Counselor - NOW HIRING!
Summer 2018 - Be a Counselor in Training (C.I.T.) for ages 13-15 years, $140 per session
Build your leadership, teamwork, customer service, programming and supervisory skills while providing on-site staff support for summer camps at Camp Ventura and Camp Camino. CITs will gain basic job/work experience – a valuable enhancement to college applications, resumes and subsequent employment or volunteer pursuits. Choose from three sessions (June 18-July 6: July 9-27; July 30-August 17), and AM (8 am-1 pm) or PM (1-5:30 pm). Selected applicants receive an interview, and, if accepted, training and a performance evaluation.
