Waterline: Midtown to Westside Interconnect

About

The City of Ventura will begin replacing the waterline along Telegraph Road between Hill and Mills Road. The construction work includes upgrading the pipelines to improve water delivery to the westside.

$2 million in Proposition 1A grant funding from the California Department of Water Resources was received for this project. The total estimated cost of the project is $11 million.

A street resurfacing project on Telegraph Road between Ashwood and Victoria Avenues will be planned after the completion of the waterline project.

Construction details

  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Excluding holidays 
  • Nightwork planned 9:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. at the intersections of Telegraph and Victoria and Telegraph and Mills Road to reduce impacts to traffic 
  • Impacts include single-lane closures, construction-related noise, dust, and vibration
