Due to increased COVID-19 cases countywide, the City of Ventura is temporarily closing most City facilities and cancelling most in-person recreational programming and services, effective January 3-30, 2022. The City will review cases at the end of January and re-evaluate when it’s safe to reopen to the public and resume all programming.

Parks & Recreation Updates for January 13-30, 2022

Registration for Spring Programs

  • Begins Tuesday, January 4, 2022, 9 am. Registration is available online and over-the-phone.

Ventura Aquatic Center & Leo Robbins Community Sailing Center

  • Open with COVID safety protocols.

Olivas Links & Buenaventura Golf Courses

  • Open with COVID and safe play protocols.

Ventura Avenue Adult Center

  • Closed through January 30, 2022.
    Senior nutrition meals available for on-site pickup, Monday-Friday from 11am-1pm.

Albinger Archeological Museum, Barranca Vista Center, Olivas Adobe, & Westpark Community Center

  • Closed through January 30, 2022.

City Tennis & Basketball Courts

  • Open with COVID safety protocols.

Afterschool Programs (PEAK & ASES)

  • Open with COVID safety protocols.

Classes, Events & Tours (Indoor Only)
