The Community Park 2nd Entrance project is adding a new access point to the park and Aquatic Center from Telephone Road and Ramelli Avenue. The project will enhance traffic control, public safety, and accessibility. This project also includes storm drain improvements, lighting, landscaping, and a new parking lot adding an additional 292 parking spots.
The project is anticipated to be completed by June 2022.
Parking Lot Closed
During construction, the overflow parking lot on the south side of the Aquatic Center will be closed.
Throughout the construction process, we will provide project updates via social media and on this webpage.
October 7, 2021
A mobile electronic sign has been placed at the roundabout in front of the Ventura Aquatic Center with messaging related to the overflow parking lot closure. Perimeter fencing has gone up around the project site and will remain up until the project is completed.

The Community Park 2nd Entrance project has broken ground! If your kids enjoy watching large tractors and equipment move dirt around, stop by and watch them at work. This project will provide an additional 292 parking spaces to support the aquatic center, sports field tournaments, and those who use this park to exercise. Upcoming projects include excavating the sidewalks, grading, water lines, underground electrical, new volt boxes, storm drains, and control wires.
