While we are not able to offer our traditional programs and services during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are focusing on providing virtual activities and modified programs that meet State of California, County of Ventura, City of Ventura, and CDC guidelines.
NEW! MARCH JR. NATURALIST MINI-SESSION
Get ready for springtime visitors!
Did you know that a toad can eat 1000 bugs a day? Learn how to attract these and other beneficial creatures to your yards. This Jr. Naturalist mini session will focus on creating inviting habitats for our helpful friends. Class focus is “experiential,” with participants learning through fun games, activities, and crafts that encourage use of all the senses.
Instructors are Certified California Naturalists who studied under Joseph B. Cornell (Sharing Nature Worldwide), Certified California Naturalists, Julie Soske and William Falls.
Location: Arroyo Verde Park, Redwood Glen Picnic Area
