The Ventura City Fire Department offers fire safety lesson plans and games for students. We appreciate the opportunity to promote fire safety in our local schools. It is our hope that the information provided here will be a valuable resource to you and your students.
The Ventura City Fire Department is donating several "Fire Facts" CDs to each 4th
grade teacher for use in the computer lab, classroom, and to take
home. Children will learn about firefighters, fire equipment, the
importance of creating an escape plan, and what to do in case of fire in
their home. CDs are to be used in conjunction with information
provided on the Fire Facts website.
Ready...Set...Prepare! Disaster Preparedness Activity Book
VUSD schools will receive Activity Books for each 4th grade student directly from FEMA. Booklets should be received the week of October 17th.
