Beginning Friday, August 28, Ventura Parks and Recreation will be transforming select areas in our local parks into Silly Walk and Roll Zones. To participate, visit one of the city parks listed below, locate the signs that identify our official silly zones, then join in the fun by silly walking or rolling from one end of the zone to the other. Get as creative as you can, you can hop like a bunny, flap your wings like a bird, do cartwheels, dance, or even pretend to swim like a fish, the possibilities are endless.
This activity can be done alone, or with members of your household, all are encouraged to participate! Make it even more exciting by filming yourself doing your silly walk or roll, then post it to Facebook and tag us @VenturaParksAndRecreation.
Silly Walk & Roll Zones are located at Camino Real Park, Barranca Vista Park, Westpark, Community Park, and Marina Park.
For your safety and the safety of others, please remember to follow all CDC guidelines for reducing the spread of COVID-19 when participating in this activity.
