The City of Ventura has created a virtual one-stop-shop for permit services called Ventura OPS. The new digital public counter allows a customer to create an account and submit a permit application without coming to City Hall. This online solution streamlines the permitting process and makes it easier to submit permit applications, upload plan sets, schedule inspections, and easily check project status online.
Public Records Access Portal
All recorded permit history for an address can be found on our online Public Records Access Portal, under 'Search Type' and 'Public - Building & Safety Records (Keywords)' . Once selected, fill in the forms with the appropriate address information (street number, street name, etc.) and all recorded permit history will display.
Please note: this is a working map so projects are being updated or added regularly and as staffing time permits. Minor applications such as single family residences, Alcohol Use Permits, and Minor Variances will be removed from the development map once the appeal period has passed (10 days after the final action).
