Underground Storage Tank Compliance

In addition to the Hazardous Material Business Plan (HMBP), California law (CCR Title 23, Section 2711a) mandates owners/operators of regulated USTs to provide particulars addressing system mechanics, leak/spill monitoring, financial responsibility, and emergency response. Details are to be entered into the facility-specific forms provided by the State Water Resources Control Board (Forms A, B, D, and E).

A completed set of these documents must be provided to the Fire Prevention Division within thirty days of commencing operation, undertaking a change in ownership, and/or carrying out a modification in process.
