City Council unanimously voted to ease limited closure restrictions of Ventura’s beaches and parks beginning Friday, May 29, 2020. The decision provides community access to City parks, beaches, the Promenade, and Pier.
Public restrooms and parking lots will gradually reopen, starting with the Harbor Boulevard parking structure at the Pier. The County Public Health Officer’s Stay Well at Home order and guidelines still apply including practicing physical distancing, avoiding high-touch surfaces, washing your hands regularly, and other activities that reduce the spread of COVID-19. During the limited reopening, all social distancing rules outlined in the County’s Stay Well at Home order are still required.
