Utility Billing Updates
On March 15, 2020, the City of Ventura declared a Local State of Emergency. In response, Ventura Water implemented a number of utility billing adjustments to support our customers during this challenging time.
Pending further legislation under the California Water and Wastewater Arrearages Payment Program, the current moratorium on water shutoffs for non-payments has been extended through December 31, 2021. Late fee assessments will continue to be suspended until further notice. Ventura Water remains committed to providing support to customers undergoing financial hardships as a result of COVID-19 and will continue to assist with flexible payment arrangements. Customers can discuss options with our Customer Care team by calling (805) 667-6500.
