The Barranca Vista Center (BVC), located at 7050 Ralston Street in Barranca Vista Park, is the City’s “Imagination Center” and features a large activity room and art studio. BVC offers a year-round schedule of classes for both adults and children in art, music, dance, fitness, and wellness along with creative camps for children in the summer.
The Ventura Adult Center (VAAC), located at 550 N. Ventura Avenue, features a large community room, patio, kitchen, and rooms for classes, meetings, and programs. Classes and drop-in activities are available for adults of all ages along with a weekday senior nutrition lunch program. Free and affordable programs and services for seniors are also located here.
Westpark Community Center, located at 450 W. Harrison Avenue, features a gymnasium and rooms for classes, meetings, and programs. The Westpark Community Center is focused on providing safe, educational, and affordable activities for the community, especially at-risk youth. Free and affordable programs include seasonal camps, classes, after-school programs, community special events, sports leagues, and a monthly food distribution program free to community residents.
