SoCalGas will be replacing a section of its natural gas transmission pipeline on Telephone Road beginning July 2018 and are projected to continue until March 2019 as part of their Pipeline Safety Enhancement Plan (PSEP). 

As of July 27th, construction is currently occurring in sections starting at Johnson Drive and moving towards Kimball Avenue. Eastbound lanes on Telephone Road will be temporarily reduced to one lane in each active work area during work hours.

Businesses will be open during construction and SoCalGas customers are anticipated to continue service without interruption. Residents and businesses surrounding the project area can expect occasional natural gas odor, work-related noise, traffic advisories and work vehicles to be present.

Replacement Details:

Project Start Location: Telephone Road and Johnson Drive
Project End Location: Telephone Road and 101 Freeway 
Projected Start Date: July 2018
Projected End Date: March 2019
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (yellow) and 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (green)
