DRAFT DISTRICT MAPS-During Transition Process
This is the location that Proposed Maps were displayed in accordance with Elections Code § 10010 for at least 7 days prior to the Public Hearings the City Council is required to hold for the public to give testimony on the proposed district map(s).
December 18, 2017 Update: City Council unanimously selected Map 11 Revised as the City of Ventura District-Based Election Map, determined sequencing as 2018 Election (Districts 1, 4, 5 and 6) and 2020 Election (District 2, 3 and 7), and Introduced Ordinance Implementing District-Based Elections.
December 4, 2018 Update: City Council Narrows maps to Four Focus Maps. On December 4, 2018 City Council unanimously decided to narrow the list of maps down to four maps: Revised Map 11, existing Maps 16, Map 22 and Map 23.

A Public Hearing to discuss draft maps will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017. By State Law, maps to be considered by the Council at the December 4, 2017 Public Hearing, must be posted online by November 27, 2017.
The below maps have been processed by the demographer. These maps originated either as submittals by residents or the demographer after hearing public testimony. The Maps were numbered as received.
